SV	En Elia zeide tot de profeten van Baal: Kiest gijlieden voor u den enen var, en bereidt gij [hem] eerst, want gij zijt velen; en roept den naam uws gods aan, en legt geen vuur daaraan.
WLC	וַיֹּ֨אמֶר אֵלִיָּ֜הוּ לִנְבִיאֵ֣י הַבַּ֗עַל בַּחֲר֨וּ לָכֶ֜ם הַפָּ֤ר הָֽאֶחָד֙ וַעֲשׂ֣וּ רִאשֹׁנָ֔ה כִּ֥י אַתֶּ֖ם הָרַבִּ֑ים וְקִרְאוּ֙ בְּשֵׁ֣ם אֱלֹהֵיכֶ֔ם וְאֵ֖שׁ לֹ֥א תָשִֽׂימוּ׃
Trans.	wayyō’mer ’ēlîyâû linəḇî’ê hab^a‘al b^aḥărû lāḵem hapār hā’eḥāḏ w^a‘ăśû ri’šōnâ kî ’atem hārabîm wəqirə’û bəšēm ’ĕlōhêḵem wə’ēš lō’ ṯāśîmû:

AC	כה ויאמר אליהו לנביאי הבעל בחרו לכם הפר האחד ועשו ראשנה כי אתם הרבים וקראו בשם אלהיכם ואש לא תשימו
ASV	And Elijah said unto the prophets of Baal, Choose you one bullock for yourselves, and dress it first; for ye are many; and call on the name of your god, but put no fire under.
BE	Then Elijah said to the prophets of Baal, Take one ox for yourselves and get it ready first, for there are more of you; and make your prayers to your god, but put no fire under.
Darby	And Elijah said to the prophets of Baal, Choose one bullock for yourselves, and sacrifice it first; for ye are the many; and call on the name of your god, but put no fire.
ELB05	Und Elia sprach zu den Propheten des Baal: Wählet euch einen von den Farren aus und richtet ihn zuerst zu, denn ihr seid die Vielen, und rufet den Namen eures Gottes an; aber ihr sollt kein Feuer daran legen.
